Overview

If you have experienced an emergency c-section, you may be experiencing symptoms described in both vaginal births and elective c-section births. You may also have had a traumatic birth and may be feeling a loss of control over the situation or ambiguous about the delivery. Some common issues you may encounter include overactive bladder symptoms such as urgency and frequency, stress urinary incontinence (leaking with coughing or sneezing), prolapse, postpartum sexual dysfunction, decreased tone to the abdomen, or negative feelings about your scar appearance.

What Should I do?

Our recommended treatment package is 1 session of Morpheus 8V, 1 session of Morpheus 8 body, 6 sessions of Abdominal Tone, and 6 sessions of V Tone.

This treatment plan will target both issues to the vagina and pelvic floor that may have arose from labour, as well as issues related to the c-section and scar. In addition, you may want to address your feelings about the delivery, and talk to your healthcare provider to get clarity on your birth story, or find someone supportive you can talk to and work through your feelings with.
