Overview

V Tone procedure. is a simple, non-surgical FDA approved technology.  It produces Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS), paired with neuromuscular re-education, to rehabilitate the pelvic floor muscles.Over time, the effect of aging, pregnancy, childbirth, hormone fluctuations and menopause can weaken women’s pelvic floor muscles, causing urinary incontinence, both stress and urgency incontinence, as well as decreased sexual sensation and satisfaction.
Indications
Laxity and wrinkled appearance of the labia minora and vulva.
Overactive Bladder symptoms (Urgency and frequency)
Decreased level of sexual interest and self-esteem
Weakening of the vaginal muscles
Loosened vaginal canal (especially after childbirth)
Stress incontinence which is leaking upon coughing, sneezing or jumping

How Does V Tone Work?

During a V Tone procedure an electro stimulator, about the size of a tampon, is introduced into the vaginal canal to trigger involuntary muscle contractions. These contractions tone and tighten the pelvic floor, particularly those muscle fibers weakened or overstretched during pregnancy and childbirth.
